ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

This pouch was eco-designed from recycled materials : recycled cotton.

Recycled cotton comes from the recycling of textile products whose fibers are crushed then rewoven to give rise to new fibers. Thus, to produce recycled cotton, we use 70% less water than to produce new fibers. A considerable impact in the preservation of planetary resources.

This pouch was made in a FAIRTRADE WTO certified factory. A factory committed to a solidarity, social and environmental policy.

The employment of workers with disabilities is almost 3 times higher than the average

At each stage of the manufacturing of this pouch, our teams worked to limit its impact on the environment to:

1. Reduce your carbon footprint (greenhouse gas emissions linked to its manufacturing)

2. Reduce your water consumption

3. Promote its recycling (at low energy cost)

The residual carbon impact of this pouch is estimated at 1.01 Kg CO2e , almost 3 times less than the average .

GO GREEN

GOGREEN makes it possible to quantify the carbon impact and water consumption of each product, taking into account the entire life cycle. The calculations use data from Ecoinvent . The equivalent kilogram of C02 (Kg CO2 eq) is a unit which makes it possible to quantify CO2 emissions from different activities. This kit emits 1.01 KG EQUIVALENT OF CO2 . Its preparation requires the use of 5.41 liters of water .
