SVR commits to endocrine disruptors
The Perturba..what? SVR on tour throughout France!
Endocrine disruptors: they have extremely complicated names like benzoate or phthalate. They are everywhere and at the same time nowhere. They are both nice and mean. Or the opposite ! In short, no one understands anything. And yet they are on everyone’s lips…
At SVR, we have been engaged on the subject for several years and we know them better and better. And today, we are organizing a fun awareness campaign to finally answer the question: “But what disturbed them…what?”
The objective is to help you see more clearly about endocrine disruptors and in particular understand where they can be found, how they work and the reflexes to adopt on a daily basis to limit exposure.
For 4 weekends in April, come and meet our teams throughout France…
And experience the Perturbaquoi experience live!
Our teams will meet you in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux and Aix-en-Provence to help you flush out the endocrine disruptors in our daily lives through mini-games represented in different rooms of the house: the kitchen, the bathroom and bedroom. But that's not all ! On site, surprises and gifts will also be there 🎁
Appointment :
· Saturday April 6 and Sunday April 7 at La Felicità in Paris

Endocrine Disruptors are everywhere in our daily lives
Understanding endocrine disruptors
🙋Endocrine disruptors are substances (or mixtures of substances) that alter the functioning of our endocrine system (which produces our hormones) and cause harmful effects on our health .
The harm caused by endocrine disruptors can then be transmitted to our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc.
👨👩👧👧 We are all exposed to endocrine disruptors. However, we are particularly sensitive to their effects during periods of hormonal changes in our lives. We then speak of periods of vulnerability : during the first 1000 days of life (from the first days of pregnancy to the child's 3rd birthday), throughout childhood and adolescence in particular.
Recognize endocrine disruptors
🔎 Endocrine disrupting substances are found in many everyday objects : industrial prepared meals, household products, kitchen utensils, various plastics, and sometimes even in certain cosmetics.
📣 Concerned about the safety and tolerance of our products (already subject to a charter even stricter than the regulations in force), SVR undertakes :
✅ To develop clean formulas, without identified endocrine disrupting substances that can have a harmful effect on our endocrine system;
🧪 To go further, by carrying out recognized tests on our finished products, in their final packaging , to verify that they do not activate endocrine mechanisms;
♻️ Choose lightweight packaging made from plastic, recycled and recyclable materials .

SVR is committed
🔬 Since 2017, we have submitted our products to tests on estrogenic, androgenic and thyroid endocrine mechanisms. These tests are carried out by an independent laboratory, specialist in endocrine disruption .
👍 The objective is to test the SVR care which is aimed at our most vulnerable users, and to reformulate those which are not validated by the tests.
🥼 Science must still progress in understanding endocrine disruptors. We strive to move forward with modesty on these issues. But we are moving forward . Because we want to provide you with clear and honest information , as well as the most reassuring products possible, for everyone .
Our experts
👉 We strive to continually deepen our knowledge and understanding of endocrine disruption . To this end, we have surrounded ourselves with experts in endocrine disruption.💬 This committee is made up of endocrinologists, toxicologists and experts from regulatory bodies . We discuss our doubts and our progress with them. They advise us on the procedure to follow, the new tests to investigate, the research to deepen. 💡 Thanks to our experts, we investigate new opportunities to provide you with the answers you ask us. And go further in the safety of our products that you trust.

🐟 At the same time, SVR regularly carries out waste collection operations alongside the Fondation de la Mer association to preserve pollution of marine spaces.
✅ The SVR x WFO partnership is one more step in the brand's commitment, allowing us to save 12 tons of plastic that could have ended up in our oceans .
👍 But it also allows you to reuse a material that is generally put aside because it is difficult to use.
The first steps to limit your exposure to endocrine disruptors
COSMETICS
Choose them tested for endocrine disruptors , with a reduced number of ingredients , without essential oils.
TEXTILES
Choose them in natural fibers : cotton, linen, wool, silk or second hand. Always wash the first time after purchase.
HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS
Prefer them to be ecological , use black soap, white vinegar, baking soda. Limit to what is strictly necessary.
UTENSILS
Choose them in stainless steel, glass, cast iron pans . Do not leave your water bottle in the sun, use tap water .
HYGIENIC PROTECTIONS
Prefer them without plastic , in natural materials, without perfume. Use washable wipes , do not leave the diaper full for long.
FOOD
Fruits and vegetables: Choose them organic and peel them well.
Meals in trays: transfer them to a non-plastic container before reheating them.
