ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

This kit was eco-designed from recycled materials : recycled cotton.

Recycled cotton comes from the recycling of textile products whose fibers are crushed then rewoven to give rise to new fibers. Thus, to produce recycled cotton, we use 70% less water than to produce new fibers. A considerable impact in the preservation of planetary resources.

This kit was made in a FAIRTRADE WTO certified factory. A factory committed to a solidarity, social and environmental policy.

Economic guarantees : minimum wage for all actors in the supply chain, development bonus paid to producers
Social guarantees : respect for fundamental labor rights, strict health and safety standards, non-discrimination, freedom of association

At each stage of the manufacturing of this kit, our teams worked to limit its impact on the environment to:

1. Reduce your carbon footprint (greenhouse gas emissions linked to its manufacturing)

2. Reduce your water consumption

3. Promote its recycling (at low energy cost)

The residual carbon impact of this kit is estimated at 3.38 Kg CO2e , almost 3 times less than the average .

GO GREEN

GOGREEN makes it possible to quantify the carbon impact and water consumption of each product, taking into account the entire life cycle. The calculations use data from Ecoinvent . The equivalent kilogram of C02 (Kg CO2 eq) is a unit which makes it possible to quantify CO2 emissions from different activities. This pouch emits 3.38 KG EQUIVALENT OF CO2 . Its preparation requires the use of 18.47 liters of water.
